Music was truly in the air at GFA with the presentation of the Spring Concert. The program included recorder melodies, piano and vocal solos, plus Concert Band and Jazz Band arrangements, all under the direction of Mr. Warren Stine.
Learning on Display is an opportunity for GFA students to show their families and the community what they have learned and investigated during the last half of the school year.
Mote Marine Laboratory, one of GFA's community partners, brought their mobile aquarium and classroom to the school campus for a morning of sharing and discovering some of the amazing inhabitants of our oceans.
Ms. Jen Drenth of Mote Marine Laboratory shared some surprising facts about sea turtles with the Tween classes. The students learned that sea turtles can live to be 100 years old and that it is important for us to protect this amazing, marine reptile. GFA is proud of its community partnership with Mote Marine Laboratory.
GFA students harvest the Papa Ed and Mimi Rosenthal Sustainable Garden for the All Faiths Food Bank's Sprout Mobile.
